Whilst performing a PST migration to Enterprise Vault, our client, like most, had no idea the scale of how many PST's were "in the wild". PST's on servers are easy to locate and assess, however PST's stored on client devices that are never backed up to a network location are not. We found the Microsoft PST Capture tools far too cumbersone and as it requires a client PC agent installation, this was a showstopper for our client.

Our tool will take the selected hostnames from an input file, scan them for PST's on whichever drivers you configure (A-Z) and report the PC Name, File Location and Size in a .csv file. This tool will continue to run (unless terminated) until all PC's in the input file have been captured

If you have a large number of devices to scan, it is recommended running multiple instances of this tool.

One of our clients who used remote desktop services extensively were experiencing problems with sessions dropping out and freezing. We wrote this tool to monitor the remote network sites internet connection so any packet loss could be reported, along with the time and duration

Using PING and ICMP, this tool will record continious ping results indefinatley (1800 attempts per file / ~30mins with no packet loss or 2.5 hours with 100% packet loss). Using our analysis tool, you can then output the summary analysis data in a spreadsheet format. Any instances where there were more than two consecutive drop outs will be reported.

This tool is especially useful for those situations where you need to know not just the health statistics of a connection, but specific instances of dropped packets down to the second.

We've had a number of clients who need to either put granular permissions on their shared folders, or replace their existing shared permissions model. We wrote this tool to enable NTFS permissioning based on a spreadsheet for input.

Using a spreadsheet to drive this tool allows for permissions that are being put in place to be signed off at management level prior to implementation. The spreadsheet uses the recommended Microsoft best practice as it's basis. Active Directory groups are used to permission the folders and users are added to the Active Directory groups.
